Comedian Vic Sotto and his girlfriend Pia Guanio had just returned from Africa where they had a Safari adventure.

The vacation was Vic’s birthday gift to Pia.

“It was a very wonderful experience kasi dati nasa Manila Zoo ko lang sila [mga hayop] nakikita. First time namin mag-Safari. Matagal ko nang pinapangarap [pumunta dun], bata pa lang ako,” related Vic.

He added that the experience deepened his appreciation for nature and the environment.

“Mas na-realize [namin] kung gaano kagaling ang Diyos, kung gaano kadapat nating alagaan ang ating environment kasama ang mga hayop at hindi puro kahayupan ang ating inaatupag,” he said.

The two hopes to explore more of Africa, particularly Botswana and Kenya, in the future.

Dolphy, Alma Moreno welcomes Vito

Dolphy and ex-flame Alma Moreno shared in the happiness of the Nov. 28 christening of their grandson, Vito Vann, by their son Vandolph and his wife Jenny Salimao.

“Tuwang-tuwa…excited ako. Parang ako 'yong nagka-anak,” said Alma.

The King of Comedy extended his best wishes to Vandolph’s family.

“Sana [lumaking] matinong bata [si Vito]. Sabi ko [naman kina Vandolph], give and take lang sa pagsasama,” he said.

Patrick Garcia denies using Jennylyn, AJ for publicity

“Full House” actor Patrick Garcia refuted the insinuations of his ex-girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado that he is using her and their lovechild, Alex Jazz, for media attention.

“I don’t need attention and I don’t need publicity. Kumbaga, pag in-interview ako, sasagutin ko. It’s not like I’m calling a press conference,” said he on “Showbiz Central.”

Patrick dared Jennylyn to show him their baby so the media would stop talking about them.

“Kung gusto niyang mapigil ‘yon, ipakita niya sa’kin ‘yong anak namin at magbati na kami,” he said.

The Kapuso actor said he does not deserve the way Jennylyn treats him.

“I wish I knew [kung bakit ayaw niya sa’king ipakita si AJ]. Basta I never cheated on her. I never did anything that bad for her,” said Patrick.
