Garnett, Celtics perfect on the road

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – The Boston Celtics completed a perfect road trip with a 105-87 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA on Friday.

Kevin Garnett led the scoring with 23 points. He piled on nine straight, including three dunks, to put Boston in command early in the second half en route to its seventh straight win.

Paul Pierce added 21 in the first half for the Celtics.

In Memphis, Tennessee, Memphis recorded a comfortable win against a Dallas team that lost its radar.

Cavaliers 101, Bulls 87
In Cleveland, LeBron James had 23 points and 11 assists to lift Cleveland over Chicago.

In Atlanta, New York used an effective combination of 3-pointers and drives to defeat Atlanta.

Pistons 105, Bucks 96
In Auburn Hills, Michigan, Detroit overcame Milwaukee in a match of two out-of-form teams.

Raptors 109, Wizards 107, OT
In Washington, Hedo Turkoglu hit a jump shot with 8 seconds left in overtime as Toronto edged Washington.

Turkoglu scored Toronto’s final six points and finished with 20 overall.

Hornets 98, Timberwolves 89
In New Orleans, Chris Paul had 16 points, 15 assists and a season-best eight steals in his return from injury as New Orleans defeated Minnesota.

Paul had missed eight games because of a sprained ankle.

Nets 97, Bobcats 91
In New Jersey, the hosts won their first game this season, ending the worst start in NBA history and downing Charlotte.
