Two exciting support events and a pair of preliminaries complete the ‘Quest For Glory’ boxing card slated Dec. 12 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Ronald Pontillas of the Rod Nazario boxing gym meets Joan de Guia from the Emil Romano boxing stable, while Richard Pumicpic (Wow Magic Sing stable) squares off with Rey Sumapig (Emil Romano boxing stable) in the scheduled supporting events.

The preliminaries of the meet presented by San Miguel Beer-Samahang Walang Katulad, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), GSIS, Petron and Biogenic Isopropyl Alcohol feature Dennis Tubieron (Nonoy Ariscon boxing stable) against Jeffrey Cerna (Wow Magic Sing), and Joan Imperial (Nonoy Ariscon) versus Rodelito Baronia (Bangued boxing stable).

Fight starts at 4 p.m.

On top of the boxing card held in cooperation with Rod Nazario’s In This Corner, the Rizal Provincial Government under Gov. JunJun Ynares and former Gov. Casimiro “Ito” Ynares is a double championship duel where the RP bantamweight and super-flyweight titles, respectively are at stake.

Rising world title contender Eden Sonsona dukes it out with Monico Laurente for the vacant Philippine 118-pound title, even as Danilo Pena defends his Philippine super-flyweight belt against Marvin Tampus.
