Presidential bet proposes subsidy for every Filipino

Philippine Green Republican Party (PGRP) presidential candidate Felix Cabrera Cantal on Saturday said he will implement a government subsidy for Filipinos even those aged one-year-old.

Cantal, in explaining his platform to media, said that if given the chance to serve the people, the government subsidy will be given on a monthly basis.

He said that Filipinos aged 1 to 5 years old will receive a government subsidy of P3,000 per month, while those aged 6 to 11 years old will receive P5,000 per month.

Those aged 12 to 18 years old will receive a monthly government subsidy of P10, 000. Those aged 19 to 64 years old will receive a P10,000 employment assistance limited to one year only. Those 65 years and above and totally disabled-pension age will receive a P10,000 support, he added.

“Wala nang mga Pilipinong maghihirap, wala nang mga Pilipinong magugutom, lahat ay magiging pantay-pantay,” Cantal said, adding that “ito ang siyang kasagutan sa matagal nang inaasam-asam ng bawat Pilipino.”

Cantal explained that before one receives the government subsidy, they should first enroll themselves under his Individual Identification Passbook (IIP).

Those aged 1 to 11 years old will fall under the Dependent Age Passbook , those 19 to 64 will be issued the Working Age Passbook, and Pension Age Passbook for those 65 above.

Aside from this, foreigners living in the country will receive a one year Expatriate Passbook. Cantal also plans to change the system of taxation in the Philippines. He said that under a Cantal Administration, the old taxation laws and rules will be abolished.

Cantal explained that only one percent per annum tithing’s of monthly receivables will be paid to the barangay for every individual.

These include corporations, organizations-government or non-government, any legal institutions , any entity will pay one percent percentum of their total monthly receivables per month derive from their monthly income, and one percent of the zonal value of the real property.
