Laguna town starts ‘Road Map’ program
SAN PEDRO, Laguna — Mayor Calixto Cataquiz of this town was joined by fellow San Pedronians in his journey to progress and prosperity at the grand launching of the “San Pedro Road Map 2020” program held the other day at the town plaza.
Cataquiz expounded on the far-ranging importance of the San Pedro Road Map 2020 program which envisions a new San Pedro City, a highly urbanized bustling Metropolis, an economic gateway to CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), a local foreign tourist destination and a Shrine City, with the installation at the Laurel Hills of the bigger than life-size image of the Risen Christ.
He added that this project is expected to generate some 10,000 job opportunities for his constituency.
The San Pedro Road Map 2020 program is a strategic long term plan, a long “road” vision that will travel for the five to 10 years development plan 2020 means perfect eyesight – “clear vision” of the vision, according to Cataquiz.
“With this Grand Launching, I am fully convinced that this is a fitting occasion for all our townspeople to see, here and understand if what is this San Pedro Road Map 2020 that my administration would like to implement. What the program would like to achieve for our people is a program for prosperity and progress that is long lasting,” Cataquiz explained.
Cataquiz said that his program is not a political plan thus it is a plan for all seasons.
