This was the update Jinkee Pacquiao gave the press about her marriage to boxing champ Manny Pacquiao at the opening of the Manny Pacquiao’s Novelty Store in Manila on Dec. 8.

Manny has been in the news lately not only for winning in his match against Miguel Cotto but also for rumors linking him to starlet Krista Ranillo.

And in the interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Jinkee said she has become forgiving after surpassing the controversy.

“Kailangang magpatawad ka para makapag-move on.”

She likened herself to her boxer-husband when it comes to dealing with personal battles.

“I need to be strong for my children. Para din akong boksingero, 'pag kailangan, fight.

“Dumaan na 'yong intriga. Goodluck na lang sa inyong lahat.”

She thanked TV host Kris Aquino for her advices. It is recalled that Jinky poured her heart out to Kris when rumors of the Krista-Manny affair hit fever pitch.

Manny was in a happy mood during the opening of his shop. He reported that his Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Wapakman,” is just a shooting day away from completion.

“Masaya ang movie, pampamilya siya. Okay siya,” he said.
