TV host Kris Aquino has a new acquisition: A multi-million-peso-worth customized bus.

Aquino, who co-hosts ABS-CBN Sunday showbiz program “The Buzz,” intends to use the vehicle for work.

"Pasok kayo para makita n'yo ang loob para alam n'yo kung bakit ginusto ko talagang magkaroon," she said to an ABS-CBN camera man who took the footage of her interview which was aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Dec. 9.

Kris explained: "Kaya ko ginusto kasi, 'pag nagtetaping ka, 'di ba, maraming lugar hindi ka sure kung may banyo. I really wanted a Roadtrek like what Sharon (Cuneta) had. Only one available, pero sobrang mahal talaga so nagpakapraktikal na lang ako at nagpa-customize."

She toured the SNN staff inside the nine-seater bus, pointing out its various high-tech facilities.

"Ito 'yong sink kaya naaliw ako. Diyan, parang puwede akong make-up make-upan diyan. Here, puwedeng hangeran ng clothes. Ito, nagpalagay ako ng microwave and over toaster tapos dito naman coffeemaker. Puwede mong i-plug kasi mayroon siyang generator," said she.

Kris made special mention of the chairs. "Puwedeng siyang iikot-ikot, I don't know lang how.

"Ire-recline mo na lang, tapos sleep na ako."

Dean Lloyd, one of those who customized the bus, explained its unique features.

"Lahat ng 220 volts can be used inside...can be transferred to volts. Meron tayong parang volt convertor," said he.

Kris said the exteriors of her bus reflect her personality.

"Sinabi ko lang, I really want magenta pink like bubble gum, like ‘Legally Blonde.’ Gusto ko pink. Sabi nga ni James (Yap), ayokong magpapansin sa mundo.”

In true Kris fashion, the comfort room is just as colorful. The toilet bowl is colored yellow.

Kris proudly said that the bus is Pinoy-made.

"Pinoy ang gumagawa [nito] and they already competed worldwide. Nagpakapraktikal talaga ako kaya ito ang pinili ko and comfortable."
