Sexy actress Cristine Reyes denied sending Heart Evangelista text messages that dissuade her from seeing Dennis Trillo.

Rumor has it that Cristine has not yet recovered from her failed romance with Dennis, and so her pestering Heart with messages that discourage her from entertaining Dennis' offer of 'friendship.'

Dennis, in past interviews, had revealed that he has a 'crush' on his "Mano Po 6" co-star.

According to Cristine, she has no time, let alone the patience to send text messages to Heart if merely to harass her.

"Wala akong time para gumawa ng mga bagay na ganoon lalung-lalo na para mag-aksaya ako ng oras para mag-text sa kahit na kaninong tao para buwisitin lang ang mga ito," Cristine explained on "Showbiz News Ngayon," Dec. 14.

She added: "Hindi rin maganda na magpa-Pasko [ay] mayroon pang mga ganyang issue. Ang labo lang. Bakit ko naman gagawin 'yon? Bakit ako pa sa lahat ng tao, ako pa ang pagbibintangan?"

Cristine is hurt over this latest brouhaha.

"Medyo nakakasama ng loob," she said. "Tigilan na, tigilan na."

At the launch of the second book of “Darna,” Dennis admitted that he and Cristine recently dined out at a resto in Greenhills.

That said, the meeting was set only as to put closure to their relationship.

“Nag-usap lang kami kasi gusto kong magkaroon ng…kasi hindi naging maganda ang paghihiwalay namin. Ilang days na lang, Pasko na. Gusto ko walang pabigat sa loob ko, sa damdamin ko. Sabay ng blessings na dumarating, gusto ko maayos na lahat lalo na kung pag-uusapan ‘yong mga nakarelasyon ko. At least malinaw na ang lahat,” Dennis said then.

To start the year right, Cristine has also smoked the peace pipe with Jake Cuenca, her leading man in an afternoon soap on ABS-CBN.

Cristine said her relationship with Jake has improved considerably. She added that the "bad breath” rumor that she allegedly spread about Jake is over.

"Napag-usapan na namin. Sabi lang niya sa akin, dati, parang ano daw,lahat daw ng kilos niya parang hindi tama sa paningin ko," Cristine narrated. "Okay na kami. Ngayon nagbibiruan na lang kami.. Sobrang enjoy na kami sa set."
