University of Santo Tomas beat National University, 25-10, 25-14, 25-13, Tuesday for its third straight win in the 72nd UAAP women's volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.

Judy Ann Caballejo scored 13 points while Maika Ortiz and Aiza Maizo added 12 and 11 points apiece as the Tigresses tamed the Lady Bulldogs in just 57 minutes.

The win improved’s UST record to 3-1.

Far Eastern University, meanwhile, overcame a first-set loss to defeat University of the Philippines, 20-25, 25-9, 25-13, 25-22.
 Cherry May Vivas exploded anew with 26 points while Monique Tiangco turned in a career-best 20 points as the Lady Tamaraws improved to an even 2-2 record.

In men’s action, Chris Macasaet registered 35 points as La Salle defeated NU, 21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 13-25, 15-12.
