Concert Queen Pops Fernandez dismissed reports that she and former boyfriend Jomari Yllana are back in each other’s arms.

Tongues started wagging after the two were seen chatting together at a recent event.

And although Pops confirmed the meeting took place, she emphasized that they did not talk about personal issues.

“'Yon 'yong first time. Hindi naman kami nakapag-usap personally dahil siyempre maraming tao tapos hindi naman ako nag-stay ng matagal,” she said in an interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Dec. 17.

The timing of their meeting was perfect, said Pops, as old wounds had already healed by then.

“Parang the ice was broken. It was the right time, more or less. Kumbaga, nag-heal ang mga wounds tapos hindi siya plinano.”

For the singer, the chance encounter proved that she and Jomari could still be "okay."

“For now, magandang sign 'yong nagkita kami at hindi naman namin ini-expect na magkikita kami. Okay naman pala kami. Hindi naman kami nagsaksakan or anything. Wala namang blood,” she said in jest.

Pops described the meeting as “light and easy.”

“Okay pa rin. Naglolokohan pa rin [kami]," she quipped.

Pops belied rumors that Jomari drove her home that night.

“Sa car lang [niya ako hinatid]. Sobra naman [ang tsismis]. Sayang ang gas, malayo ang bahay ko.”

She admitted receiving a goodnight kiss from the actor before she left.

“[Pero] ano lang, the usual goodbye, the usual kiss when you see someone, the usual kiss when you say goodbye,” she said.

Dousing the reconciliation rumors once more, the Concert Queen blurted, “My God, walang nangyayari!”
