A 46-year-old man was discovered dead by his cousin last Friday at their place of work at Mandaluyong City.

The victim was identified as Bernardo Bataan, a native of Urbiztondo, Pangasinan, and a resident of Pasig City working as a contract employee at the RFM Plant along Sheridan Extension.

Investigation done by Police Officer 2 Danila Patoc, officer on case, revealed that Bataan was discovered lifeless when his cousin, Darwin Resultan, 23, tried to wake him up at around 5:45 a.m.

Resultan told authorities that he and Bataan, along with other employees, slept at the motor pool shop the night before to be able to report to work that day and his cousin was supposed to report at 6 a.m.
