Corteza now World No. 4

Lee Van Corteza now holds the distinction of being the fourth highest-ranked pool player in the world.

According to latest rankings released by the World Pool Billiard Association, the pride of Davao collected a total of 1,175 points, including 800 points for his runner-up finish at the recent World 10-Ball Championship where he lost to Mika Immonen in the finals.

Corteza is a winner of six gold medals in the Southeast Asian Games starting from 1999-2005.

Immonen, strengthened by the 1,000 points garnered from his recent victory, piled up a total of 2,117 points to overtake Ralf Souquet of Germany for the No. 1 spot.
