Zero crime in Cavite
There were no major crimes incidents in Cavite in the last six days, the police provincial office said Tuesday.
Cavite Provincial Police Office (CPPO) officials said that only petty crimes were reported at the police stations during the week in the province’s 19 towns and cities.
Big crimes were a virtual nil during the “Simbang Gabi” (dawn mass) days, they said.
“Simbang Gabi” or Misa de Gallo will end at 12 midnight Wednesday night with the traditional mass and Noche Buena (family get-together dinner).
In Imus, the province’s capital and the site of the diocese, there were no single incidents that have been reported at the municipal police station from December 16, the day “Simbang Gabi” started until Wednesday (December 23).
“Imus is blessed, there were no crimes reported during the period,” said Senior Police Officer 2 Roland R. Ramos, the town police investigation chief, in the vernacular as he presented the folder of incident reports to this reporter.
