Dusk Tiger

Major guitar manufacturer, Gibson USA recently announced the release of the third generation of Gibson robot technologies, the Dusk Tiger. This state of the art electric guitar went out the market last December 7, 2009 with only 1,000 limited edition packages sold worldwide.

A major feature of the Dusk Tiger, same with all of the Robot Guitars, is its automatic tuning system. This technology allows the guitar to tune itself with just the pull of the Master Control Knob and a strum of the strings.

Another feature is its Chameleon Tone Technology and editing software. This gives the guitar the ability to fully change pickups, customize tones, tuning presets and settings with the computer and upload them to the guitar.

It also comes with a rechargeable battery pack that eliminates the need to plug the guitar in for charging.

The Dusk Tiger features significant innovations that were first introduced by the Dark Fire, Gibson's second generation Robot Guitar. Gibson's robotic tuning system was introduced with their first generation Robot Guitars, the Robot Les Paul Studio, Robot SG, Robot Flying V, Robot Explorer, and a Robot Les Paul Junior.
