Veteran actress Gina Pareno is rumored to have made a few unreasonable demands from ABS-CBN including imposing a midnight curfew on her taping for the forthcoming soap, “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo.”

She is said to have also enumerated things that she can and cannot do in her tapings, some of which limit, if not deviate from, how the character she plays was written.

Both demands, it is said, were turned down.

Some people who have heard the rumors say that Gina’s demands spring from her effective portrayal of the character Lola Gets in “Tayong Dalawa” for which she won Best Actress at the 23rd Star Awards for Television.

"Hindi na nga ako tinatawag na Gina, wala nang tumatawag sa akin ng Gina," the veteran actress said in past interviews. "Grabe! Basta, pag nakita ako, 'Lola 'Gets!’ na ang tawag sa akin."

To her credit, Gina has amassed a couple of acting trophies here and abroad for her roles in some indie films.

The veteran actress will star alongside Regine Velasquez and Aga Muhlach in “Omboy and Burns,” as well as in the remake of ‘80s cult classic, “Working Girls,” in 2010.
