Off to Canada for the Pacquiaos
In line with the celebration of her birthday on Jan. 12, Jinkee Pacquiao, along with husband Manny and their four children, will take a grand vacation in Vancouver, Canada, early 2010.
The Pacquiaos have long wanted to take the trip.
“Plano na namin, 'di ba, na magbakasyon. Tinatanong namin ang mga bata kung saan nila gusto. Actually, dalawa, Australia and Canada,” Jinky explained on "Showbiz News Ngayon," Dec. 28.
Mrs. Pacman also shared her New Year's wish for her boxing superstar husband.
“Basta 'yong nandiyan lang siya, [pati na] 'yong respect [niya para sa akin at sa mga bata], gano'n,” she said.
Jinkee admitted that the rumors surrounding his husband has helped strengthen their relationship.
“Hindi naman ako perfect wife. Meron din akong pagkukulang. [Pero] at least ngayon, alam na namin kung paano i-handle na hindi na kami maaapektuhan. Ang importante, nag-uusap kami. Napag-uusapan namin ang problema at saka magkaibigan na kami.”
Manny was under public scrutiny for months after he was romantically linked to his "Wapakman" leading lady Krista Ranillo. The controversy had people speculating especially since the two were seen a couple of times together during sorties not connected to their movie.
In a previous interview, Manny described Krista as “matalik na kaibigan,” no more, no less.
Krista is still mum on the topic but her non-appearance at the Parade of the Stars last Dec. 24 provoked tongues to wag anew.
Incidentally, Manny's movie continues to lag in last place in the current Metro Manila Film Festival in terms of ticket sales.
