Caloocan City will open the year 2010 with programs to upgrade skills and employment opportunities for city residents and make them more competitive in the labor market.
In announcing the programs, Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri also urged residents, especially those who are at least 17 years old and holders of high school diplomas, to avail themselves of the year-round short livelihood courses offered by the city government.
Echiverri said the programs are categorized into four courses. The first provides Information Technology (IT) courses which include computer operations, computer hardware servicing and cell phone repair.
