“StarStruck: The Next Level” First Princess Rich Asuncion has shrugged off criticisms about her new “sosyalera” friends who are said to be wielding a “bad influence” on her.

“Ang masasabi ko lang sa mga taong nagsasabi niyan, mas kilala ko ang sarili ko at mas alam ko ang pagbabagong nangyayari sa’kin kaysa sa kanila. Nagbago ako for the better kasi sa mga kaibigan ko na mahal na mahal na mahal ako,” she said.

Another “StarStruck alumna,” LJ Reyes, is also in the center of malicious talks. The recent car accident she was involved in is said to have been due to her “getting intimate” with rumored boyfriend, Paulo Avelino, while they were in transit.

Although such an accident happened, Paulo denied it was caused by their “intimacy.”

“Galing kaming mall show ng ‘StarStruck,’ tapos convoy kami. Paanong mangyayari ‘yun eh hiwalay kami ng kotse? Di siguro nakita ni LJ ‘yung sasakyan, ayun tumama ‘yung bumper niya sa likod nung sasakyan,” Paulo recalled.

He added: “Kung anong meron sa’min [ni LJ] ngayon, sa’min na lang yun.”

Pauleen Luna’s resolution: Stay single for now

Young actress Pauleen Luna has decided not to have a love life this year.

“Wala akong interes ngayon sa love life. I’m not open to it,” she firmly stated on “Startalk.”

Asked to comment on her ex-boyfriend, Sherwin Gatchalian, who was recently spotted with a date, Pauleen said, “It’s been two years na wala kami. I think fair naman sa’ming dalawa na makipag-date sa ibang tao.”

All is well even between her and rumored ex-flame Dennis Trillo.

“Magkaibigan kami. Everything’s fine,” was her terse reply.
