Award-winning actress Gina Pareño aka 'Lola Gets' tearfully recalled how she found her 78 year-old mother, Dory Ocura, who went missing on New Year's day.

According to Gina, her mother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, sneaked out of their vacation house in Tagaytay by her lonesome in the wee hours of Jan. 1. Gina later learned from their neighbors that Dory intended to hear mass at Baclaran Church that day.

When her mom failed to return, a frantic Gina made an announcement via DZMM. Dory was found a few hours later at a house in Pasay City. She had a bruise on her left eye, which she got from tripping.

“Pagbaba ko ng sasakyan, [tinawag akong] ‘Lola Gets’ nung mga tao, tapos nakita ko 'yong nanay ko. Niyakap ko siya tapos nakita ko 'yong pasa-pasa niya na hindi naman siya nagkaroon sa buong buhay niya,” Gina tearfully recounted.

Celebrity husband and wife Bong Revilla Jr. and Lani Mercado shared their two cents with couples on how to keep a marriage intact.

“Wag kayong makikinig sa ibang tao. At the end of the day, kayo ang magkasama. Communication is important, at siyempre, magdasal,” advised Lani.

“Alam ng bawat isa sa’min ang mga limitasyon na hindi dapat lampasan,” related her senator-husband. “Ang importante [ay] nagmamahalan kayo at alam niyo kung ano 'yong tama.”

Lani rejoined: “At alam mo kung ano 'yong dapat at hindi mo dapat ipaglaban.”

The grandparents of Gab, son of Rosanna Roces’ daughter Grace Adriano and their son Jolo, also hope to settle their conflict with Osang.

“Para sa’kin, bagong taon na [so] dapat kinakalimutan na 'yong nakaraan. Dapat ang isipin natin [ay] 'yong magandang kinabukasan na maibibigay dun sa bata,” Bong said.

The MMFF 2009’s best actor wishes for his wife to win the congressional seat in Cavite in 2010.

“Alam ko kung gaano siya kamahal ng mga taga-Bacoor. [She] will win the election. Gusto kong makita siya sa kongreso. 'Yon ang wish ko for this new year,” he remarked.
