We’ve had our eye on both Team Manila and ILOVEYOU ever since both lifestyle stores burst onto the scene. Last December, Team Manila and ILOVEYOU launched Future X Manila, a limited-edition collection of tops that is a representation of the youth’s future. Says Jowee Alviar of Team Manila, “We created graphics that interprets the messages of ILOVEYOU.” The graphics shows perspectives and points of view done in a geometric and minimalist style, which Alviar admits as something new for the graphic design team visually. The cuts, meanwhile, were designed by ILOVEYOU and shows their experimentally chic and fashion-forward style. “It’s been a long overdue collaboration between Team Manila and ILOVEYOU as we have been friends in the industry for quite awhile and have been supporting each other’s directions,” adds Alviar.
