She did it again.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta, who is seemingly on a roll after being adjudged "Best Actress" in the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), was able to achieve a rare ‘two-peat’ when she won the grand prize of the popular game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" last Jan. 9.

Cuneta had won a cool P1 million in the same show in 2001 by answering “Nanook of the North” to the question: What is the title of the first major documentary film made by Robert Flaherty in 1922?

For her recent win, the question was about “a particular ingredient” used in the witch's brew in William Shakespeare's "Macbeth."

Cuneta answered correctly saying it was a "lizard's leg."

The episode, which aired on TV5, showed Cuneta answering a total of 15 multiple-choice questions correctly.

Among these were: the location of the Hospicio de San Jose [‘Isla de Convalescencia’]; the mark that Zorro leaves behind [‘z’], the French word for “thank you” [‘merci’]; the Broadway musical featuring Abba songs [‘Mamma Mia!’]; and the first time that the Olympic torch relay was introduced (‘1936 Berlin Olympics’).

For the P1 million-question, about the original name of Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), Cuneta used her “final lifeline” and called her film director friend Joey Reyes.

The director correctly answered “Junio 19.” The megastar acquiesced and subsequently earned her P1 Million.

Cuneta, a self-confessed voracious reader, said she will donate the P2 million to the Hospicio de San Jose.

Cuneta finished high school at the International School Manila. After taking some non-credit courses in Boston over a decade ago while her husband Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan took post-graduate studies at Harvard, Cuneta resumed her studies by taking an Associate in Arts Degree course in the University of the Philippine’s Open University.
