“Baka ligawan pa lang.”

This is how Christian Bautista put the possible goings-on between his ex-girlfriend Rachelle Ann Go and Callalily front man, Kean Cipriano.

It is recalled that Rachelle was rumored to have been the third party that broke Kean’s half-year romance with “StarStruck” alumna, Arci Muñoz.

Rachelle had denied the allegations in a recent interview.

“Baka 'yon pa lang ang nangyayari kasi kaka-break lang niya [with Gab Valenciano], tapos hindi naman siya ganun ka-bilis na meron agad na bagong guy. So it’s just hyped-up kung sila na or nade-develop na,” said Asia’s Romantic Balladeer, who emphasized that he is merely speculating on the matter.

Christian admitted that he and Rachelle don't talk that often since their breakup in 2007 nor does he know Kean well.

In fact, during the interview, Christian mistakenly thought Kean to be actor Xian Lim.

“Hindi ko pa rin kilala si Kean that much. Ang alam ko lang, he’s a good actor,” he said.

When corrected, Christian blurted: “Akala ko 'yong actor na Xian!"

The “Tell Me Your Name” singer confessed that Rachelle Ann has always been a boy magnet.

“When we were together, marami pa ring nagpaparamdam. Ganyan talaga ang mga lalaki---'yong iba mga walang modo talaga.”

Asked why he did not invite Rachelle Ann to be part of his video for his latest single "Beautiful Girl," Christian said that it was a “career decision.”

“Dito sa music video, we used girls na I’ve never been partnered with,” he said. “Of course maganda naman si Rachelle but we want to offer something new.”

In the video, which he dubbed as the “upgraded, modern version” of Jose Mari Chan’s classic, Christian will be seen with four stunning girls, namely his celebrity crushes Anne Curtis and Angel Locsin, and renowned models Solenn Heusaff and Georgina Wilson.

The platinum-selling crooner, who is yet to have another serious relationship after Rachelle, said that although he is ready to fall in love, “ayoko namang basta manliligaw lang just because maganda ['yong babae]. Hindi ako ganun.”
