CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Four members of a family, including an 8-month-old baby, were brutally killed inside their residence in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija, Wednesday morning, police reported Thursday.

Reports reaching the office of Chief Superintendent Leon Nilo A. Dela Cruz, Central Luzon police director, identified the fatalities as Marcela Saclolo Galicia, 50; her son Mark Arthur, 28; daughter-in-law Cecille, 29; and 8-month-old granddaughter Aicelle. They bore multiple bullet wounds in the head and different part of their bodies.

Investigators from the 3rd Criminal Investigation Detection Unit (3rdCIDU) headed by Senior Superintendent Marvin Bolabola said Marcela and her son's bodies were found outside their home in Barangay Lawang-Kupang while that of Cecille and her baby were found inside.

Police also found several spent shells and deformed slugs of 9mm bullets at the crime scene.

No other details were immediately available as investigators are still trying to determine the motive of the killing.

But Bolabola said investigators are zeroing in on personal grudge as possible motive of the killing.
