The black-tie guests at the New Year’s Eve bash, hosted by Nedy Tantoco, President of Rustan’s and the Stores Specialist’s empire, and businessman Patrick Jacinto, were welcomed to an evening of thrills and spills; with Moet & Chandon spilling out into bottomless flutes all night long.

Leave it to Nedy to pamper her guests; prior to the occasion, each one was asked their desired entrées, with a choice of Chilean Sea Bass, Roast Duckling a l’Orange or U.S Beef Tenderloin with Lobster Medallion.

The evening started off with Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Rey Reyes. Christmas songs by Tenor Arturo Navera filled the air at their private garden chapel, Our Lady of Guadalupe.

After Mass, cocktails were served, with a feast of Jamon Jabugo Pata Negra, no less, Swiss Raclette and Queso Manchego from La Mancha, Spain. This was complemented with Montes Alpha 2007 in all its reds and whites.

A vibrantly embellished tent, with polychromatic lights underneath the dance floor was specially constructed for this New Year’s merriment. John Gaddi and Becky Garcia were Master of Ceremonies. George Sison gave his prosperity message for the coming year and dancing ensued, with the Acoustic Jive and performance by May Bayot. After dinner, Patrick’s spectacular fireworks production set the sky ablaze, illuminating the white tented garden pavilion by the pool, creating a myriad of colors, as the elegant party guests sipped champagne.
