Pagcor, PhilWeb launch new Internet casino website
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) has launched its latest gaming service, www.egamesonline.com.ph, the first Internet-based casino gaming website.
E-Games Online is operated by Philweb Homeplay, Inc., a subsidiary of PhilWeb Corporation, and will offer traditional casino games like blackjack, baccarat, roulette and slots to Filipino players that are 21 or older.
Philweb disclosed to the Philippine Stock Exchange that the suite of games, which covers everything found in a “land-based” casino, is presented with state-of-the-art graphics and high speeds, thanks to enterprise-class servers from PhilWeb.
Players need nothing more than a simple computer and a good connection to the internet in order to play. A brief registration process ensures security.
E-games Online is supported by PhilWeb’s payment platform, which makes deposits and withdrawals easy and convenient.
Users can now deposit to their casino account by visiting cashiers in Metro Manila, through accredited banks, and via the Click2Pay e-wallet, which is easily set up online.
Other methods, such as load PINs, money transfers via online banking, and local credit cards will be added soon.
The e-Games Online website will allow players to play from home for the first time in the Philippines.
“This is an important step in fulfilling Pagcor’s mission to deliver secure, legal, fair and convenient games of chance to adults throughout the country,” said Dennis O. Valdes, PhilWeb president.
He said “this site will be attractive to affluent customers who own their own computers at home and prefer to play at their convenience and privacy.”
Pagcor is government agency that regulates and operates all games of chance in the Philippines. PhilWeb Corporation is the country’s first and largest listed online technology firm, and works closely with Pagcor to offer a network of 171 Pagcor e-Games Cafes throughout the country.
