Hot new artist Ke$ha is on top of the world.

The 22-year-old singer’s debut album “Animal” opens at number one at the Billboard 200 charts, shifting 152,000 copies on its first week. “Animal” easily ends Boyle’s six-week reign with “I Dreamed A Dream,” which in turn moved 92,000 units.

Ke$ha likewise tops this week’s digital sales chart by selling 252,000 downloads of “Tik Tok.”

The singer becomes the first act to simultaneously take its debut album and single to number one on both charts since Leona Lewis with her album “Spirit” and “Bleeding Love” in 2008.

The rest of the singles chart sees Lady Gaga staying put at number two with “Bad Romance,” while Jay-Z’s former number one single, “Empire State Of Mind,” gains ground by moving up a notch to number three.

Iyaz’s “Replay” goes down from number three to number four, while Owl City’s “Fireflies” and DJ David Guetta’s “Sexy Bitch” (aka “Sexy Chick”) featuring Akon stay at number five and six, respectively.

Ke$ha continues her great chart showing with another entry in “Blah, Blah, Blah,” the single which features 3OH!3 that debuts this week at number seven.

Young Money (feat. Lloyd) enters the top ten with “Bedrock,” which moves up four notches from twelve to number eight. Rihanna likewise jumps from fifteen to number nine with “Hard.”
