It’s easy to assume based on first impressions that the beautiful and handsome finalists of the search for the next Flawless endorsers were chosen for their looks.

However, Flawless CEO Rubby Sy could just as easily debunk that theory.

“This is not a beauty contest or one that’s about fame. Although the participants joined the contest in the hopes of having their own billboard, our plans for the winners go beyond the exposure it will give them,” Sy said during Flawless’ recent press launch.

The two winners of the "Picture Flawless" search, who will be identified based on the votes of the general public and announced Feb. 8, will join Flawless’ next campaign dubbed “Flawless Philippines.”

The aim of “Flawless Philippines” is to beautify the country, beginning with self-improvement such as quitting smoking and eating healthy, to such communal activities as repainting bridges and cleaning up the streets.

Sounds more like hard work than glamorous fun? True, said Rubby.

“It’s a good thing that many of them are very idealistic. When we first interviewed them, most talked about making a difference in the country...becoming role models,” she said.

The Top 23 “Picture Flawless” finalists are Jean Teresa Rose Agoncillo; Abigael Arazo; Julieanne Susie Arcenio; Doris Cheong; Trina Felis Espia; Keina Fawaz; Rose Carmel Pagtalunan; Jennifer Regaspi; Apple Seva; Aristotle Corrales; Rafael Carlo Cruz; Robert de Claro; Eric Akhaton Eleazar; Paolo Antonio Jereza; Cerafin Letim; Rafael Nanquil; Paul Reyes; Saman Sohrabi; Stephan Schielmann; Jason Ryan Sumang; and John Rudolph Villamor.

“Many of them are in their teens, but we have a housewife finalist. Many are from Manila, but we have a Cebuano who could hardly speak Tagalog. Some of them are tall, many are short. The only thing common with all of them is that each has a story that is bound to surprise people who are into stereotyping,” hinted Sy.

According to the “Picture Flawless” release, the finalists will campaign aggressively for themselves in the next few weeks. They will mobilize friends, family, and Flawless patients to vote for them through text or through availing of Flawless products or services at any of the clinic’s 32 branches.

The two winners of the contest will win a year-long endorsement contract with Flawless and P800,000 each.

“But like I said, the cash, the contract...these are just icing on the cake. What we’re really looking for are envoys that will be as committed as we are in giving back to the country,” said Sy.

Flawless is the country’s leading aesthetic and beauty clinic, providing the most advanced treatments and products for the face and body. Founded in 2001, the company has branches nationwide, with locations in Metro Manila, Metro Davao, and Metro Cebu.

Apart from basic facials, bleaching, and waxing, Flawless’ medical treatments include pimple injection, electrocautery, mesotherapy, sclerotherapy, whitening and anti-aging injectibles, skin peeling, and many others that are done at all times under the supervision of dedicated doctors.
