To prove to all and sundry that she’s not pregnant as rumored, controversial actress Krista Ranillo allowed ABS-CBN’s “Showbiz News Ngayon” to cover her body contour operation with her sponsor Dr. Anna Lansangan on Jan. 16.

The SNN episode, which aired Jan. 18, showed Krista in the clinic bed preparing for the procedure. 

To further stress her point, Krista challenged the SNN staff in an effort to put the nasty rumors to rest. “Doon tayo sa banyo. Ipapakita ko sa ‘yo. I have my period now, ang kulit mo. I’ll show it to you para lang maniwala ka,” Krista said while lying in bed.

Weeks ago, Krista was written about as having visited a hospital in Cebu for a medical checkup. Reportedly, she jumped for joy upon hearing her doctor say that she’s on the family way.

In the SNN episode, Krista also refuted claims that Manny Pacquio, with whom she was romantically linked, gave her a $2 million ‘tip’ when Pacman won his fight against Miguel Cotto.

“Hindi ko nga alam eh. Kahit na piso wala nga akong balato eh. Kung meron, eh, ‘di sana nag-share na ako sa iyo,” she said.

Krista also denied her dog Sophie's Team Pacquiao necklace came from Pacman.

“Kasi, meron fan na lumapit sa akin, parang regalo ng fan sa akin ‘yon eh,” she said.

On whether she and Manny still communicated after rumors of their romance surfaced, Krista gave a vague answer: “Nagkausap kami while doing the movie [“Wapakman”]. We’re friends. He said naman na hindi mapuputol ‘yon.”

As to what she will do if she comes face to face with Pacman’s wife Jinkee, the controversial sexy start retorted, “‘Hi!’ ‘Yun lang siguro ang sasabihin ko!”

Refusing to spill the secret on how she managed to evade the nosy press when she arrived in Manila, Krista dodged the question with a sweetly delivered brush-off, “Thanks, thanks. Next time. Abangan natin ang susunod. Thank you.”
