Rica Peralejo is grateful for having a cooperative partner in Joseph.

It will be a beach wedding on Jan. 29 for young couple Rica Peralejo and Joseph Bonifacio.

Granting his first-ever exclusive interview with ABS-CBN’s “Showbiz News Ngayon,” which aired Jan. 21, Rica’s non-showbiz husband-to-be enthused that he and Rica are enjoying every minute of the wedding preparation.

“It’s fun. I guess masarap kasing mag-prepare when you’re with someone na you enjoy preparing with,” Joseph said.

Rica is equally grateful for having a very cooperative partner in Joseph.
 
“I’ve got an active groom. Kasi ako, I easily give up. 'Ayoko na! I don’t wanna do that.' Siya, ipinaglalaban niya ‘yong mga sinabi ko noon,” she said.

In a bid to limit the people who will attend the wedding, the couple has kept the venue for the solemn affair a secret. They are hoping to limit the attendees to people close to them.

“Actually, we’re not inviting so many people. We are going to celebrate na lang with other people in different ways,” Rica explained.

Joseph, who is a pastor of the Victory Christian Fellowship Church, revealed that the entourage will be a healthy mix of showbiz and non-showbiz people.

Some of their showbiz friends who are invited to the wedding include Sharon Cuneta, Pin Antonio of Salon De Manila, and Rica's morning show co-hosts Kim Atienza and Pinky Webb; as well as Donita Rose, who would act as their host, with her son as their ring bearer.

Joseph proposed to Rica on May 31, 2009, on their 10th anniversary as sweethearts. It was Rica who announced her engagement to Joseph via "Umagang Kay Ganda," to the delight of her co-hosts.
