National University continued its hot start as it added La Salle to its growing list of victims with an abbreviated 13-3 win in the 72nd UAAP baseball tournament Thursday at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

The Bulldogs leaned on the big hits of rookie Jezreel Rosita and the solid pitching of last year's Rookie of the Year winner Bryan Diaz to seal the win after only five innings and post their third win in four games.

The win enabled the Bulldogs to tie University of the Philippines, which beat University of the Santo Tomas, 11-7, for second place.

The loss dropped the Archers into a tie with the Tigers for fourth spot at 1-3. — Jonas Terrado
