Marlene Aguilar implicates bodyguard in Ebarle murder
Latest controversial mother Marlene Aguilar pointed fingers at her bodyguard, Mark Hauser, as a possible culprit to the murder of Renato Ebarle, Jr., whose death is charged against her son, Jason Ivler.
“I have a bodyguard, Mark Hauser. He’s British. Magkatabi po sila ng kuwarto ni Jason sa baba. He has access to everything. He has access to [the] car, he has access to, if there’s a gun there… He’s in and out of the house. They’re in the same quarter,” she exposed in a live interview on “The Buzz.”
According to Marlene, “He was not home that evening. Nung bumalik siya, umaga na, lasing na lasing.”
When host Boy Abunda directly questioned Jason’s mother of her bodyguard’s involvement in the crime, she said:
“Actually, he even told me… he said ‘Ma’am, I’m gonna ask someone in England to send me 5,000 dollars to put in your account because I look like Jason. I might need a lawyer also.” Apparently, this was what her bodyguard of two years had told her after the incident.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) regards the bodyguard-implicating scenario as “the highest form of deception,” to which Marlene tersely remarked: “Karapatan po nilang isipin ‘yun.”
She blames the government agency for the arrest of Jason Aguilar in Qatar, who was suspected to be Jason Ivler.
“Nagkamali po ‘yung mga otoridad,” she said. “Kasi mache-check naman nila ‘yung identity nung tao, kung siya ‘yun. Kasalanan po ‘yun ng mga otoridad na nagkamali sa pagdampot sa taong ‘yun.”
For those who label her “insane,” the book author and visual art publisher posed this question: “What have they done for their country recently?”
“My book is my fight with America for the Philippines and if the Filipino people would see that as insane, let it be.”
Right now she feels “just floating through life… waiting, wondering why this is happening to me, my family,” but wishes “that we stop hating.”
Asked where she finds her strength amidst all the cases and controversies, Marlene attributed it to “the will of God.”
“I believe that everything happens for a grand reason. I believe that there are greater forces up there and we are not totally in control of our lives. We are affected by greater and unforeseen forces and I humble myself to the will of God.”
