John Estrada’s forthcoming wedding to his girlfriend of three years Priscilla Meirelles has the blessing of his children.

John’s daughters Inah, Moira, and Kayla expressed their collective approval of their father’s second marriage in a taped interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Jan. 25.

“If dad wants to settle down, fine...as long as he’s happy,” Kayla Estrada enthused during the debut party of her sister Inah. 

For Moira, her father’s happiness is of utmost importance. “Masaya rin kami kapag masaya din sila,” said she.

Initially, Inah was a bit surprised by the planned wedding, but she was never opposed to her dad’s idea.

“When they told me, I was shocked. I think Ate Priscilla is good for my dad and I have no problem with them whatsoever. It’s okay,” said the debutante.

In the same interview, Priscilla recalled how John proposed to her.

“It was July 15. It was in a restaurant in Makati. Meron ibang room…just for us,” she recalled. John proposed at Elbert’s Steak House in Makati.

The Brazilian beauty is decided on a beach wedding, although she has not zeroed in on which of the three popular beaches in the country she would want to say her “I do’s.” The couple’s three beach choices are CamSur, Boracay, and Palawan.

“I’m a beach person. I think it’s very romantic. It suits my personality,” Priscilla said.

John plans to have two children by his would-be-wife. She has four children with his former wife Janice de Belen—Inah, Moira, Kayla, and Yuan.
