RIZAL — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has approved the transfer of at least four election officers in four municipalities in this province.

This was bared by Rizal Comelec supervisor Atty. Ruben Anievas after receiving the order from Region 4 Comelec supervisor Atty. Juanito Icaros allowing the movement of the election officers (EO) in San Mateo, Pililla, Rodriguez, and Taytay towns even during the election period.

It was learned that Pililla EO Lilisa Sanchez and San Mateo EO Raymond Teaño swapped posts effective January 16.

The Regional Comelec office also approved the swapping of the EOs of Rodriguez and Taytay towns. However, the EO of Rodriguez, Arturo Mercado, and Taytay’s EO, Rene Gaton, have yet to relinquish their respective posts as of Tuesday.
