First, it was Denise Laurel who denied him. Now, actor John Prats is being denied anew, this time by beauty queen Karla Henry.

Karla is being linked by media to Shaina Magdayao’s ex-boyfriend. Just recently, she dispelled rumors of any romantic involvement with John—and with seeming conviction at that.

“No, I’m not the one. I met John only in 'Magpasikat Ka.' Part kami ng 'ASAP' before. We’re just friends right now,” she said in the Jan. 27 episode of “Showbiz News Ngayon.”

Karla stressed that there’s nothing romantic brewing between her and the dancer-actor.

“He’s a nice guy, actually. As of now, ang masasabi lang talaga namin, we’re just friends,” she said failing to avoid the cliché.

Meanwhile, Shaina has come out to admit that she, just like everybody else, is aware of the John-Karla rumor. She is shrugging it off.

“Kung saan siya masaya, ‘di ba, then I’ll be happy for him,” she said. 

That said, it seems that Shaina's not ready to give up on John.

“Ayaw ko kasing isarado iyon dahil talagang hindi ko hawak iyon. Pero, we’ll see kung ano ang mangyayari,” she said.

Weeks past, Shaina denied a "third party" being the cause of her breakup with John.

“Wala pong third party. I think if there's anyone to blame, siguro kaming dalawa lang ‘yon. Huwag na po tayong mangdamay ng iba,” she said.

But she admitted that it was a painful experience.

"Gaya ng lahat ng breakup, hindi siya maayos. Pero ginagawa namin ang lahat para ma-save ‘yong friendship namin.”

Earlier, Denise clarified that John’s just a screen partner. They’re paired together on ABS-CBN’s "Precious Hearts Romances: Bud Brothers."

“John Prats and I are just friends,” she said. “He’s my on-screen love team and we work well together and we’ve built a following,” Denise said in a prior interview.
