No Angel in Boy’s stable; Marvin, Pauleen at it again?
TV host and talent manager Boy Abunda denied reports that prized actress Angel Locsin is now under his management.
“The fact is, no one has asked me, and it is unfair to accuse anybody. Walang katotohanan that I’m managing Angel Locsin, but she remains as one of the closest girls in my heart,” he cleared.
Should he be given the chance to make Angel one of his wards, Boy enthused, “Why not?”
“Kung halimbawa walang problema… at kung kaya kong gampanan ang mga requirements ni Angel, why not?”
However, he stressed that he would first talk with her current manager, Becky Aguila.
“Kung sakali-sakali man na may nagsabi sakin na may interes na pagtagpuin kami ni Angel, one of the first steps I would take is to call Becky Aguila, at sabihing, ‘Becky ano ba ang nangyayari?’”
Marvin and Pauleen: Single and ready to mingle… with each other?
Former flames Marvin Agustin and Pauleen Luna are reuniting once again, but for an independent film called “Sigwa,” an entry of mainstream award-winning director Joel Lamangan to the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.
In the film, which also stars Dawn Zulueta, Zsa Zsa Padilla and Megan Young, Pauleen and Marvin play “extra-sweet” lovers.
“Mag-syota kami nung seventies, and according sa script extra sweet kami talaga,” the actor told “Startalk.”
To which Pauleen said in jest: “Tuwang-tuwa siya.”
Marvin gamely rode Pauleen’s flow and replied: “Nagkukuwento lang ako. Nami-misinterpret mo ‘yung pagkukuwento ko.”
The Kapuso award-winner continued teasing Pauleen during their joint interview when he said he won’t be planning a birthday party for himself [he was born on Jan. 29] if Pauleen will be M.I.A [missing in action].
“’Pag gustong pumunta ni Pauleen, magpa-paparty ako. Hangga’t hindi siya puwede walang party. Nothing to celebrate,” he kidded.
While the two admitted to be both single, they said that for now, they are simply sailing the friendship boat.
“Magandang development na ‘to that we’re talking, and comfortable pa rin kami sa isa’t-isa,” Marvin related.
