Judai’s goodbye and Rica’s happy ‘I do’
Is Judai leaving showbiz?
After 26 years of gracing the boob tube and the big screen, young superstar Judy Ann Santos is leaving showbiz---at least, temporarily.
Judai said she’ll take a break after she finishes work on her much-awaited soap, “Habang May Buhay.”
Being in the industry for almost three decades, Judai said humility is the most important lesson she has learned.
Asked how she has bloomed from a chubby duckling to a gracious swan, the actress said:
Rica Peralejo walks the sandy aisle
After seven months of preparation, Rica Peralejo and Pastor Joseph Bonifacio walked the sandy aisle to forever on their beach wedding last Jan. 29 at Cawayan Cove in Nasugbu, Batangas.
The much-awaited part of the occasion was the kiss, which was their first with each other since they got together in 2008 after they got acquainted via the Victory Christian Fellowship.
Newlyweds Rica and Joseph are currently staying at Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay, where the latter proposed to the actress/TV host 10 months after their romance blossomed. The two are planning a honeymoon abroad.
Meanwhile, a spurious text message circulated during that day claiming that Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano, who is one of the performers at the wedding, died in an accident.
Later that evening, host Kris Aquino announced on “Showbiz News Ngayon” that she received a text message from Angeli Pangilinan, Gary’s wife, disproving such sham.
Gary himself proved he is alive and grooving on “A.S.A.P. XV” on Jan. 31.
