Alfie Lorenzo suffers heart attack, in stable condition

Talent manager and columnist Alfie Lorenzo is now in stable condition after suffering a heart seizure on Feb. 4 at around 3 p.m. at his house in Panay St., Quezon City.
This was relayed on “Umagang Kay Ganda,” Feb. 5 by Lorenzo’s most popular ward, Judy Ann Santos, who rushed him to Capitol Medical Center after he complained of chest pains.
“Tito Alfie” (as close friends refer to him) was then transferred to St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) in a stretcher at 8:30 p.m. Sources revealed Alfie will undergo emergency angioplasty.
In a report by Mario Dumaual on “Showbiz News Ngayon” on Feb. 4, he said, “gising at nakakausap pa ng malinaw si Alfie ayon sa kanyang mga kasama, pero ayon sa aming impormante na ayaw magpabanggit, kailangang sumailalim sa angioplasty ang beteranong talent manager kaugnay sa barang natagpuan sa kanyang puso.”
The 71-year-old talent manager-writer was accompanied to both hospitals by Judy Ann, his personal staff members Peter Ting and Peter Meneses, and writer Fatavini San.
ABS-CBN channel head Cory Vidanes rushed to St. Luke’s Medical Center as soon as she heard of the news.
