More Pinoys from Haiti back home
The last batch of Filipinos to be repatriated from quake ravaged Haiti arrived Friday morning aboard a Philippine Airlines flight from Los Angeles, California.
The 32 evacuees arrived onboard PAL flight PR103 which landed at 7 a.m.
Those who arrived last Friday were Arnel Alcayde, Morris Bautista, Maria Liza Benitez, Philippe Jethro Benitez, Paul Bugayong, Francis Casuyon, Irene Delatour, Ryan Delatour, Yvan Delatour, Julio Gonzalo, Liezel Gonzalo, Glenn Michael Imperial. Gherwell Lalican, Sheryl Malbacias, Samantha Louise Malbacias, Adelina Manalansang, Wyndell Manalansang, Danica Manalansang, Rosemarie Paglomutan, Camille Anne Paglomutan, Israel Pasahol, Emmanuel Perez, Freddie De Roxas, Honey Santos, Joaquin Tena, Ferdinand De Vera, Renelyn De Vera, Lelanie Villa, Welldine Lalican, Jonna Leigh Villa, and John Lloyd Villa.
Atty. Ricardo Foz of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Vivian Tornea of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration were at the airport to personally welcome the survivors.
Honorable McArthur Corsino, the Philippines' Ambassador to Cuba, accompanied the evacuees onboard the flight.
"They're all home safely," Amb. Corsino said, referring to the 64 Filipinos who applied for repatriation back to the Philippines.
