ORANI, Bataan — Three alleged big time suspected drug pushers were arrested Thursday night in what police described as dramatic operations against illegal drug trade in Bataan Province.

Sr. Supt. Arnold D. Gunnacao, Bataan police director, disclosed that his men led by Superintendents Benjamin B. Silo Jr., commanding officer of the Public Safety Management Company, and Elbert F. Pagente, intelligence officer, conducted a buy-bust operation at 9:30 p.m. Thursday along the area between this town and Samal following reports that a drug pushers were going to sell drugs in the area.

Fielding a poseur-buyer, the police collared Joselito David and his wife, of Barangay Caparangan, right after handing to the poseur-buyer sachets of shabu.

But since David’s wife, whom the police did not identify for obvious reasons, preferred to coordinate with the authorities about their drug trade.

Police did not include her in the charge sheet after she led authorities in a follow up operation in nearby Dinalupihan town.

Hoping to bag more big time pushers, Insp. Emelito dela Cruz, Samal police chief, and Chief Insp. Palaleo Addag, Orani police chief, then joined the group of Silo and Pagente in the operation and posted themselves along the highway in Roosevelt, Dinalupihan.

After the police asset disguised herself as buyer, two other suspected drug pushers identified as John Sumintac and Eric del Carmen, both of Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales, appeared and offered to sell shabu.
