Although members of all-girl K-pop group 4Minute are on a special diet to maintain their lean bodies and image as pop idols, they admitted that they “love to eat.”

This was revealed by the group when they met the Philippine press Saturday at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.

The five members of 4Minute--HyunAh, Jihyun, Jiyoon, Sohyun, and Gayoon -- are now in Manila to hold mall shows and promote their album “For Muzik.”

The press conference, which started an hour late, was held by MCA Music to showcase the pop group.

4Minute members said while they are on a special diet, they are having a hard time controlling their craving for food especially that they’re here in the Philippines.

While the members talked about their diets and fashion styles, their Philippine handlers barred them from answering personal questions from the press particularly HyunAh and her past association with the Wonder Girls.

HyunAh debuted in the K-pop scene as member of the Wonder Girls in 2007. However, she quit the pop group after a few months due to health reasons.

With the present controversy surrounding the replacement of Sunmi in the Wonder Girls, the Manila Bulletin Entertainment Online asked HyunAh if she would consider going back to the Wonder Girls if the head honcho of JYP Entertainment, Park Jin-Young, would ask her.

One of her handlers at the press conference barred her from answering the question.

4Minute is under Cube Entertainment, an affiliate of JYP Entertainment, which handles the Wonder Girls.

4Minute debuted last year in Korea with the digital single “Hot Issue” which became a hit and earned the group two Rookie of the Month music awards. Last December, 4Minute won the Golden Disk Newcomer Award alongside girl group T-ara.

This year, the group won the Newcomer Award in the 16th Korea Entertainment Arts Awards and Popular Artist Award in the 2010 Asia Model Awards.

HyunAh is currently part of the cast of the Korean reality TV show “Invincible Youth” along with members of girl groups such as Girls Generation and Brown Eyed Girls. She is also promoting her solo debut single “Change” on various Korean TV shows.

The “For Muzik” CD-DVD that was released in the Philippines contains the hit songs “Hot Issue”, “Muzik” and “What a Girl Wants.”

The mall tours are being organized by SM Supermalls and Talk N’ Text and will be held on Feb. 6 at SM Megamall New Event Center, 5 p.m.; and Feb. 7 at SM North EDSA Annex Event Center, 5 p.m.

Fans who will buy the Limited Tour Edition “For Muzik” album (which comes in different packaging from the regular 4Minute album) will have the chance to have their copies signed by 4Minute members.
