“StarStruck V” avenger Ian Batherson said his closest friend on the talent search, Rox Montealegre, was his “distraction.”

“Kasi dati, [nung] nasa competition pa si Rox, hindi ako maka-focus kasi ‘yung atensyon ko is on Rox kasi close kami. Wala na si Rox so magfo-focus na ko sa competition,” he said.

Rox, who was with him during their live interview on “Startalk,” seemed to have taken it differently.

“Hindi ko naman po siya dini-distract. I didn’t do anything to distract Ian. It’s not fair for you to say na distraction,” the young budding star directed at Ian.

Ian then explained it’s not what she thinks it is.

“We’re close so I [would] always wanna talk to you. ‘Wag kang magalit sa’kin.”

With that, the pretty Atenean avenger understood.

Meanwhile, the Fil-Am cutie denied rumors that he has received indecent proposals in the past.

“Wala po talaga. Kung merong ganun, sobrang magagalit ako. Hindi ako ganun,” he cleared.

However, he admitted that there were gays who tried to make their move on him.

“May mga bading na they’ll try to flirt with you, and you don’t want to be rude so you laugh it off,” he said.

Rox also had something to deny—that she has cosmetic surgery to thank for her beauty.

“Blessed lang po [ako],” was her meek reply.

Captain Barbell meets Marina

Richard Gutierrez is very excited to work with Kapuso network’s new contract star, Claudine Barretto, in a movie project.

“It’s a surprise na makakatrabaho ko si Ms. Claudine. Hindi ko na-imagine na makakatrabaho ko siya. It’s an honor for me,” he said, beaming.

The actor is also very pleased with the Department of Justice’s decision to dismiss on Feb. 5 an entertainment website’s motion for reconsideration against the 25 million-peso libel suit he filed against them.

“We’re still pursuing the case. I’m very happy with the results [sa] DOJ,” he said.

Talks are also rife that his ex-girlfriend, Georgina Wilson, is the primary choice to play his leading lady in his next project, “Captain Barbell.”

“They’re offering her [the part], pero si Georgina hindi pa sure. Abangan na lang natin ang mga susunod na mangyayari,” he revealed.

And has Georgina regained her leading lady status in real life?

“Kami ni George…I’m very happy sa situation namin ngayon kasi wala kaming samaan ng loob sa isa’t-isa. We’re friends,” Richard shared.

However, his mind is far away from making plans this Valentine’s Day, but the “Full House” lead star admits he is “inspired.”

“Meron akong inspirasyon. Siyempre sa trabaho namin, mahirap. Siyempre kailangang may inspirasyon ka,” he intimated.
