Panday and Enteng together in one movie
There’s a possibility that titanic action star Bong Revilla and next Comedy King Vic Sotto will star in one movie.
This the senator revealed during his recent press huddle.
“Napag-usapan namin. Nag-usap kami sa phone. Kinongratulate niya ako noong time na ‘yon. But of course, ‘yung ‘Panday’ tuloy pa rin. ‘Yung ‘Enteng Kabisote’ niya, tuloy pa rin,” Bong revealed.
“Panday” was 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival’s top grosser, raking more than P100 million in its entire run. Vic’s “Ang Syota Kong Aswang” placed third.
Luck, it seems, is on Bong’s side nowadays. And as they say, it comes in threes. And at the rate things are going, Bong is going to reap his second and third success.
The well-loved senator is doing very good in the survey, having already eclipsed Sen. Jinggoy Estrada. Bong is now leading the pack of senatoriables in the last survey.
Wife Lani Mercado likewise posted very high in a survey, making her a shoo-in for a congressional seat. She’s running for congresswoman in Cavite.
The senator feels he’s not ready yet to seek higher office that's why he is seeking re-election as senator this coming May 2010 elections. He was invited by a strong political party to be their candidate for vice president but Bong politely turned it down sans regret.
My dad made the right decision so wala akong dapat pagsisihan. Bata pa naman ako, eh,” he explained.
Regarding his feud with former OMB chairman Edu Manzano, the senator has long buried the hatchet, so to speak.
Wala namang problema. Past is past. Tulungan kami.
Bong was queried if he’s willing to help ladies he’s romantically linked with if they seek public office. Will he charge them in case he endorses their candidacy?
Kung halimbawa tatakbo sila, why not? Pero kung magpapabayad ako, matagal na silang bayad,” he said. This was met by a boisterous laughter.
“Pinapatawa ko lang kayo. Alam n’yo, ngayon ko lang kayo napatawa,” he said.
