Rizal vows more social services

ANTIPOLO CITY — The provincial government based here has vowed to continue to fulfill its agenda of recognizing the need for efficient social services now that it has been recognized for its job placement assistance to its unemployed residents.

Rizal Gov. Jun Ynares III has thanked the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) for giving citation to the province particularly its Rizal Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO), which has been awarded a plaque for the best PESO, under first class province category, during the awarding ceremonies held recently in Batangas City.

The DoLE bestowed the award to the Federation of Rizal PESO Managers during the PESO Year-End Assessment and Planning Conference in Batangas City.

Aside from the top regional award, the PESO of the province was also awarded as the Best in Presentation of FY 2009 Accomplishment Report, Best in Statistical Performance Rating System and Most Cooperative Delegation.

For having the Best Presentation of Accomplishments, the Federation of Rizal PESO Managers received a cash prize of P27,000 and P3,000 cash each as prize for being the Most Cooperative Delegation, and for having the Best Statistical Performance Rating System.

Rizal PESO was recognized for its learning trends and successful practices on employment service administration under PESO’s commitment to serve in the area of employment and manpower development.

As an incentive, Ynares gave P10,000 to the federation.

“These awards, once again, showcase the effectiveness of our administration’s management thrusts imbedded in ‘Only what is Best for Rizal’ development agenda,” Ynares said.
