"Because he’s such a nice guy [and] I approve of him. God-fearing, good-looking, everything,” he said on “The Buzz.”

The concert royalties were also asked during their joint interview who among the younger singers deserves to be the heirs to their throne. The ex-couple both named Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo and Prince of Pop Erik Santos.

If ever their colorful love story will be made into a teleserye, the Concert Queen wants hunk Derek Ramsay to play the role of her ex-hubby, while the Concert King sees multimedia star Toni Gonzaga as fitting for Pops’ role.

“Panghihinayang…kasi sayang ‘di ba, ‘cause siyempre when we decided to get married, you want it to be a forever thing. I came from a broken family so nung kinasal kami I wished na sana ito na ‘yun...tatanda kami together…we’ll raise our kids together,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Martin combined both feelings, saying “regretful desire.”

“Kung may desire ka pa pero ‘yung kabila wala na, it’s a regretful desire. Like you’re hitting a brick wall, a dead end,” he said.
