Lloydy on John-Shaina split: “It wasn’t me”

Once and for all, John Lloyd Cruz denied his involvement in the shocking breakup of John Prats and Shaina Magdayao last December.

“Ako naman from my end, as far as I’m concerned, wala po tayong kinalaman. My being friends with Shaina has nothing to do with their breakup. Alam ni Shaina ‘yon. Alam ni John ‘yon,” Lloydy told “The Buzz.”

He also asked the public to respect what the former couple has gone through and is going through now that they are trying to at least save their friendship.

“Kailangan lang nating i-respeto siguro ‘yong naging relasyon nila. ‘Di lang kasi fair sa kanilang dalawa kasi kung ano ‘yong naging problema nila as a couple, kailangan nating hayaan ‘yon sa kanila. Kanila ‘yon eh. ‘Di natin puwedeng panghimasukan,” he said.

The Box-Office King reiterated: “Wag na sanang i-push pa ‘yong issue.”

Meanwhile, Lloydy flew to Malaysia on Feb. 6 together with onscreen partner Bea Alonzo to shoot scenes for their much-awaited reunion movie, “Miss You Like Crazy.”

When asked who among Bea’s other leading men he got the most jealous of, Lloydy jokingly gave a confident “none.”

“Hindi ako nagseselos. Kahit sabihin mong six pack ‘yang sina Sam [Milby] at Derek [Ramsey]… ‘Tong ganitong katawan, ito ang mas masarap yakapin. So alam ko ‘yOn ang hinahanap-hanap niya,” he kidded.

For her part, Bea followed Lloydy’s naughty drift and picked Luis Manzano, his love interest in the film “In My Life” as the one she was greenest with envy. “Si Luis talaga. Iba ‘yong pakiramdam ko. Iba ‘yong tinginan nila eh,” she said.

Andi Eigemann finds more comfort in Jason Abalos

Kapamilya’s newest primetime star, Andi Eigemann, admitted that she is more comfortable working with TV and indie actor Jason Abalos.

“Si Jason po kasi nakatrabaho na ng Mommy ko (Jaclyn Jose) so nakikita ko siya,” said the young up-and-coming actress.

How about her other leading man, Mateo Guidicelli?

“Kami ni Mateo, work in progress,” was her brief reply.

Should the Filipino-Italian actor-racer race his way to her heart, the daughter of veteran actress Jaclyn Jose seems to be game for the chase.

“Hindi naman po masakit buksan ang sarili sa kanya kasi mabait,” she said, then quickly added, “tsaka guwapo.”
