Still adjusting as a new Kapuso talent, Joross Gamboa jokes about having a hard time remembering where the comfort rooms are inside the GMA-7 compound.

For actor Joross Gamboa, the truism that when it rains, it pours holds true.

The newest Kapuso star is busy with assignments in his new home. He’s cast in the teenybopper show “First Time” and “SRO Cinemaserye.” He was also recently signed up as the new endorser of the clothing line, Le Froge.

Last year, Joross won Star Awards for Television’s Best Single Performance by an Actor for his convincing performance in the "Bisikleta" episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”

“‘Pag bumuhos ang ulan, buhos talaga,” Joross exclaimed during his and Edgar Allan Guzman’s launching as the newest Le Froge image models.

The actor describes his fashion style as comfort dressing.

Since there seems to be a deluge of projects in the Kapuso network, will he advice ex-girlfiend Roxanne Guinoo to follow suit?

“Sa akin, to be honest, kung ano man ang desisyon n’ya, good luck. I’m not in the position right now na mag-advice,” he said.

As a new Kapuso, Joross has made a few adjustments.

Going sexy in the movies is something that Joross plans to do slowly.

“Sa akin, okay lang. Actually, nagsisimula na rin akong magbuhat. Magsisimula na akong mag-workout. I’m open naman to do topless [scenes]. Pero ayoko nu’ng all-out na all-out. Kapag nakapagbuhat na ako, okay lang mag-trunks basta sa pelikula, basta maganda ang storya,” he said.

Apparently, he’s not yet ready to go frontal. “Siguro, pag-iisipan ko muna.”

He’ll also give serious thought on the idea of a love scene with a man in a movie.

Joross was reluctant to name actors he would want to pay lip service to in a film.

“Wala, wala pa akong maisip. Kahit sino. Babae na lang. Sige, tomboy na lang,” he said.

Eventually, the new Kapuso star wants to direct and produce his own films. He’s taking up Mass Communication in preparation for this big dream of his.

“Meron nga akong top 200 movies of all time sa cellphone ko para ‘pag nanghiram ako ng tape. Actually, natututo na ako ng film appreciation now,” he said.

For now, what he seems to enjoy is appreciating beautiful actresses in the GMA fold.

She’s so sexy.”
