"Rudy [Fernandez] is still in my heart. He still occupies it entirely,” Lorna Tolentino told the entertainment media as if she zapped into a scene of a local classic film while answering queries whether she is now ready to entertain suitors.

At the recent Flawless event announcing its newest pair endorsers who won the said brand’s pageant campaign held in Quezon City, Lorna was asked how she spent the Valentine season. She replied, “There’s no one special for me this Valentine. I’m going out with friends and family this Valentine’s day to celebrate. I’m contented with being single.”

If she has suitors, she said she would accept flowers if they send her some but Lorna insisted that she’s far from being ready for love. “I guess it’s okay to accept flowers. But I’m really not ready for anything that has to do with finding a new love.”

What she is prepared for is giving her all-out support for the political bids of her friends in showbiz like former president Joseph Estrada and Senator Jinggoy Estrada, the latter known to be Rudy’s best buddy. Unlike other celebrities reportedly lending their images to candidates with alleged price tags, Lorna said she will be doing it all for free.

Lorna shared with the media, “I will help Senator Jinggoy campaign. He has my full support. In fact, I blocked off dates for the campaign and we already discussed how I could help. He told me, ‘Paano ‘yan, si Rudy sa lahat sinasamahan ako?’ ‘Sure, sure,’ sabi ko. ‘Wala naman akong trabaho ngayon. Sasamahan din kita sa lahat. Isipin mo na lang, ako si Rudy.’”

She added, “Whatever it was that Rudy started when he was still alive, I’m all for it including the decision to support whoever he wanted to support. We’ve always been there campaigning for the family [Estradas] so that’s what I plan to continue doing. We feel we’re actually family because we really felt the love and support of President Erap eversince. They [Estradas] have always made us feel like we’re family to them.”

Regarding possible conflicts her campaigning for the Estradas may cause her friendship with another senatorial candidate Sen. Bong Revilla, Lorna said it will not hurt their relationship. “I don’t think there would be any conflict. If ever Sen. Bong asks if I could be of help, he knows that I’m willing to do what I can do.”

One of Flawless’ most prized endorsers, Lorna attended the event to announce the winners of the night’s Picture Flawless pageant. The winners are Julieanne Susie Arcenio and Robert de Claro.

According to Flawless’ CEO Rubby Sy, the event was worth all the hard work. “It was possibly the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do. All of them [23 candidates] deserved to win. All of them have humility, integrity and passion; all of them are so good-looking! All of the contestants were special. They were all flawless in their own ways, and were such a joy to have around, with their positivity and friendliness.”

Apart from de Claro and Arcenio, other winners are first runners-up Aris Corrales and Doris Cheong; and second runners-up Rafael Nanquil and Abigael Arazo. Special awards were also handed to Apple Seva (Flawlessly Photogenic), Jenny Regaspi (Forever Flawless), Trina Espia (Flawless Beauty Bod), Keina Fawaz (Flawlessly Witty), Johnru Villamor (Flawless Personality), and Serafin Letim (Flawless Sweetheart).
