There is no better way to start your morning than listening to the funniest and hottest radio DJs in the country today – Chris Tsuper and Nicole Hyala. Together, they host the refreshingly funny and perky show “Ang Tambalang Balahura at Balasubas” over at 90.7 Love Radio.

And this year, DJs Chris and Nicole have taken their career to the next level by signing as the newest talents under the management of public relations entrepreneur and music producer Chris Cahilig.

Cahilig, a respected name in public relations, advertising, music marketing, and viral marketing, ventured into talent management in 2008 when he discovered balladeer Myrus – now dubbed as the Sentimental Prince of Philippine music and a certified gold record artist for his debut album “Love Cycle.”

“We’re happy to have Chris Cahilig as our new manager. We’re very excited to do new projects,” shares Nicole.

“I’m sure this is going to mark the beginning of a new and better stage in our careers,” adds Chris.

DJs Nicole and Chris have become household names and favorites of households, commuters and drivers as their five-year-old radio program “Tambalang Balahura at Balasubas” keeps on growing in popularity. “I feel honored and flattered that Nicole and Chris – who are biggest tandem in FM radio these days – gave me their confidence and trust in helping their careers,” says Cahilig.

Interestingly, the show “Tambalang Balahura at Balasubas” was created “by accident.” It was Chris (Adrian Policena in real life) who originally anchored his own radio show and he had Nicole (real name Emmylou Gaite) reporting the traffic situation from the field. Their on-air banter became so humorously engaging and popular with listeners that they were eventually given their own show.

It was a case of perfect chemistry between Nicole and Chris – and their show remains popular for their side-splitting commentaries on current events and the humorous yet insightful advice they give to listeners’ phoned-in (or texted-in) questions.

Aside from mastering how to tickle their fans with their own brand of humor, the DJs have also become famous for the unique and exciting phrases they invent, such as “nakakalerkei” and “trulaloo at walang halong eclavou” among others.

DJs Chris and Nicole have likewise penetrated the music recording industry. They, in fact, released their first album “Hey! Tambalan Na! D’ Nakakalurkei Na Album” under Ivory Records in 2008. Since then, they have recorded two more albums, “Hey! Tambalan Na! D’ Mas Nakakalurkei Na Album” and “Hey! Tambalan Na! D’ Pinaka-Nakakalurkei Na Album.”

“Tambalang Balahura at Balasubas” is heard Mondays through Fridays during the traffic report at gridlock hours at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
