Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is conducting a seat sale on flights to all domestic points as well as choice Asian and Australian destinations as part of its Chinese lunar new year promotions for the “Year of the Tiger.”

For a one-way flight on Fiesta Class (economy) between Manila and any point in Luzon or Visayas, and between Cebu and Davao, the promo fare is P888. Between Manila and any point in Mindanao, the fare is P1,888.

The seat sale covers PAL-operated flights between Manila and Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Kalibo, Laoag, Legazpi, Ozamiz, Puerto Princesa, Roxas, Tacloban, Tagbilaran and Zamboanga, as well as between Cebu and Davao.

The discounted fares are available for ticketing until February 15, 2010 and are valid for travel anytime during two periods from February 16 to March 18, 2010, and from May 17 to August 31, 2010.

In the international sector, PAL offers special round-trip, Fiesta Class fares on specific flights between Manila and selected destinations: $128 for Singapore (flights PR 501/502 and PR 505/506); $168 for Jakarta (flight PR 535/536); and $552 on all flights to the Australian cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane (the last starting March 17).

These fares are available for ticketing until February 15, 2010. For the Singapore and Jakarta promos, the outbound-Manila travel validity dates are between February 16 to March 25, 2010 , and between April 5 and August 31, 2010.

The Australia promos are good for travel, outbound Manila, from April 5 to August 31, 2010.

All discounted fares to both domestic and international points already include surcharges but are exclusive of government taxes and service fees. They are non-refundable; rebooking is allowed only for the domestic promo.

Passengers receive a free baggage allowance of 15 kilograms on all routes except to and from Australia, where they get 23 kilograms.
