The love continues

After receiving acclaimed reviews for her portrayal of a victimized daughter in Joel Lamangan’s “Sagrada Familia,” singer and actress Lovi Poe moves on to more victories as she recently celebrated her 21st birthday in a special edition of “SOP.” Fresh from Valentine’s Day appearances, Lovi is busy as she faces her commitments. She will attend the Soho International Film Festival on Feb. 18-21 in New York City. Her film, “Walang Hanggang Paalam,” which co-stars Jacky Woo and Joem Bascon and directed by Paolo Villaluna and Ellen Ramos is an entry. She is also busy being a part of “SOP’s” Covergirls along with Heart Evangelista, Carla Abellana, Bianca King, and Glaiza De Castro.
Lovi, who endorses Freego Jeans, is also busy on Joel Lamangan’s “Sigwa” where she plays the role of an activist. Lovi is currently appearing with the sitcom, “Show Me Da Manny” under GMA-7. Indeed, this love month sits well with Lovi.

Soundtrack of Love
While the holiday may be over, the movie of the same name still plays strong in movie houses nationwide. “Valentine’s Day,” the movie, does not only offer Hollywood’s finest with the likes of Julia Roberts, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel and many others, it also brings forth a soundtrack, that twinkles with the brightest stars, it turns music appreciation into a star – gazing experience, that can only be relived through this perfect record for the perfect Valentine’s Season.
Multi-awarded Grammy winner, Taylor Swift heads the flock with another smooth sailing pop country ballad, entitled “Today Was a Fairytale.” She also stars in a brief cameo together with esteemed ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner. Also included in the soundtrack is her hit “Jump then Fall” that can also be found in her multi-platinum album, “Fearless.”
Amongst the constellation of stars that performed for this soundtrack is another country star, who attempts to make her much awaited comeback through the movie’s soundtrack. It is indeed a welcoming surprise for Jewel’s song for the movie, entitled “Stay Here Forever.”
Yet, despite these awe inspiring songs, don’t mistake this soundtrack for just another compilation of mush music. Also included are other rare, hard to find hits that have graced radio stations like that of Leighton Meester’s “Somebody to Love,” Amy Winehouse’ “Cupid” and Maroon 5’s “The Way You Look Tonight.”
No love compilation is complete without legends that have created anthems of couples across the globe. Also included in the soundtrack is Ben E. King’s “Amor,” Nat king Cole’s “Te Quiero Dijeste,” Steel Magnolia’s “Keep on Lovin’ You” and Michael Franti and Spearhead’s “Say Hey (I Love You).”
This soundtrack also features two top indie bands that have made a name for themselves in the underground music scene, like that of Black Gold’s “Shine” and The Bird and the Bee’s” I’m Into Something Good.”
The Original soundtrack of “Valentine’s Day” is now available in all Odyssey and O Music Stores Nationwide.
